Dr. Ernesto Guillermo Scerpella, MD, was an infectious diseases physician and researcher, and above all else a music lover whose deep appreciation for the arts reflected his passion for creativity and human expression. A supporter of the Young Patronesses of the Opera, he found great joy in music of all kinds, as well as in opera and museums. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Patricia, and an exemplary father to his sons, Ernesto Alessandro and Renato. Together, Ernesto and Patricia cherished the vibrant arts and music scene of their home, South Florida.
